(1002) Olbersia is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on August 15, 1923 by the Russian astronomer Vladimir Alexandrovich Albitsky at the Crimean Observatory in Simejis ( IAU code 094).
The asteroid is dedicated to the German astronomer Heinrich Wilhelm Olbers (1758–1840).
