(13122) Drava is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 7 February 1994 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.
The asteroid was named on May 23, 2000 after the local name of the Drava , the fourth longest tributary of the Danube at 749 kilometers . It rises in the Puster Valley in South Tyrol , flows through Austria and Slovenia and flows into the Danube below Osijek in Croatia .
