(2559) Svoboda ( 1981 UH ; 1930 XJ ; 1948 RF ; 1976 SC 7 ) is about 21 kilometers in the asteroid of the average main belt , on 23 October 1981 by the Czech (then Czechoslovakia ) astronomer Antonín Mrkos at Kleť Observatory on the Kleť near Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic ( IAU code 046).
designation
(2559) Svoboda was named after Jindřich Svoboda (1884–1941), a professor of astronomy and geodesy at the Czech Technical University in Prague .
