(3547) Serov is an asteroid of the main inner belt , which was discovered by the Ukrainian - Soviet astronomer Lyudmyla Shuravlowa on October 2, 1978 at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095).
Based on observations of the asteroid at the Oak Ridge Observatory of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics on October 31, 2006, the orbit of the asteroid could be determined and it was given the number 3547. (3547) Serov was on October 19, 1994 after the named Russian painter Valentin Alexandrowitsch Serow (1865–1911). Serow is considered a representative of Russian Art Nouveau painting .
