(7037) Davidlean is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 29 January 1995 by the Japanese astronomer Yoshisada Shimizu and Takeshi Urata at Nachi-Katsuura Observatory ( IAU code 905) in the Wakayama Prefecture was discovered.
The asteroid was named on November 23, 1999 after the British film director David Lean (1908-1991).
