(9358) Fårö is an asteroid of the central main belt that was discovered on February 29, 1992 as part of the Uppsala-ESO Surveys of Asteroids and Comets at the La Silla Observatory of the European Southern Observatory in Chile ( IAU code 809).

The asteroid was named on March 9, 2001 after Fårö , a Swedish island in the Baltic Sea that is only separated from Gotland by a narrow sound .
