105music is a Hamburg based music label founded in 2003 as a joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment and NN .

Founders and managing partners are Heinz Canibol and Roman Rybnikar.

In February 2014 Sony Music Entertainment announced that the previous managing directors had withdrawn from day-to-day business.

Musical direction

After working in top positions in various major labels , Canibol and Rybnikar decided to set up a music label for adult listeners with 105music. Listeners aged 25 and over should be served primarily with German-language music.

Contract artist

In 2015, Annett Louisan , Ina Müller , Stefan Gwildis , Frank Ramond , Anna Depenbusch , Jördis Tielsch and Mirja Boes were under contract with 105music .

Former 105music artists are Henni Nachtsheim , Cosmo Klein , Silvio D'Anza , Frans Bauer , Hubertus von Garnier, Felix Meyer , Konrad Wissmann , Jon Flemming Olsen , Die Junge Tenöre and Ruben Cossani .

Since the founding of this music label, 105music artists have been awarded various gold records , six platinum records, one double platinum and one quintuple gold record from the IFPI .
