The 15th arrondissement is an arrondissement (municipality) of the city of Marseille in the south of France . In 2008 78,396 people lived here.
The arrondissement is located in the north of the urban area. In the north it borders on Les Pennes-Mirabeau and Septèmes-les-Vallons , in the east on the 14th arrondissement , in the south on the 3rd , in the southwest on the 2nd and in the northwest on the 16th arrondissement . In the west, a narrow coastal strip of the Mediterranean belongs to the arrondissement.
