The 26th Submarine Flotilla , or 26th U-Flotilla for short , was a military association of the former German Navy during World War II .

The flotilla was formed in April 1941 as a submarine training flotilla . The base was Pillau until February 1945 , then Warnemünde until the end of the war . The flotilla was primarily used for torpedo shooting training for submarine commanders. A typical commanders' shooting course lasted three to four weeks.
