  • Spusius Papirius Crassus, Servius Cornelius Maluginensis, Gaius Sulpicius Camerinus, Lucius Papirius Mugillanus, Quintus Servilius Fidenas and Lucius Aemilius Mamercinus become Roman consular tribunes .

Eastern Mediterranean

  • Sparta , which sees itself as the guarantor of the royal peace , which provides for the autonomy of the Greek city-states, moves against the Chalkidik Bund under the leadership of Olynths in northeast Greece . The two cities of Apollonia Mygdoniorum and Akanthos , which Olynthus had planned to conquer, had called on Sparta for help. The First Olympian War begins .
