The 1970 Croft 50 Mile Race , also known as WD & HO Wills (The Jock Leith Trophy Race for Group 5, 6 and 7 Sports Cars), Croft , took place on July 11th on the Croft Circuit and was the third race of the Interserie this year.

The race

In 1970, the first three races of the Interseries took place within three weeks . After the victory of Jürgen Neuhaus in Porsche 917 in his debut race in Nuremberg won Vic Elford in McLaren M6B the 200-km race at Hockenheim 1970 . At the 3.400 kilometers long circuit in Dalton-on-Tees was Helmut Kelleners in March 707 successfully.
