The 300-mile race at Hockenheim in 1970 , even ADAC Award of Baden-Württemberg, 300 miles Hockenheim (Race 5 - Inter Series), Hockenheim , took place on 11 October at the Hockenheimring place and the sixth and final championship round was the Interserie this Year.

The race

The first season of the Interseries ended with the 300-mile race . With second place behind Helmut Kelleners , who drove a March 707 , Jürgen Neuhaus secured the first championship title of this racing series in the Porsche 917K . Kelleners won the race after a driving time of 2: 42: 12.600 hours by one lap ahead of Neuhaus. Third was Gijs van Lennep , who also drove a Porsche 917K.
