Alexander Bruce Bielaski

Alexander Bruce Bielaski (born April 2, 1883 in Montgomery County , Maryland , † February 19, 1964 in Great Neck , New York ) was an American government official. On April 30, 1912, he became the second director of the newly formed Bureau of Investigation (BOI), which later became the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He gave up his office on February 10, 1919.

In 1904 he joined the George Washington University the study of jurisprudence from. In the same year he joined the United States Department of Justice . In Washington, Bielaski joined the BOI, where he was first deputy to Stanley Finch , before George W. Wickersham appointed Bielaski as director.
