AK's in the closet is the second single after Alpha from Kollegah 's fourth studio album King .

background

In February 2014, Kollegah released Alpha, the first single from his fourth studio album, King . One month later, the music video for AKs in the closet , directed by Markus and Michael Weicker, was uploaded to the YouTube channel of Kollegah's label Selfmade Records at the time. The song was produced by the United Hustlers, Phil Fanatic and Hookbeats.

The track is a classic Kollegah track and takes up the classic themes. Kollegah said about the creation of the song:

“Here, too, I gave the producers exactly what the beat should sound like. I chose synths and also thought of a melody. It was immediately clear to me that the song would polarize a lot. Because the sound of the album is actually less synthetic, but rather atmospheric thanks to the use of pianos. But then I still wanted one of these boards. In terms of the album's concept, the song comes across as particularly cool because it stands out from the others. "
