← A Lyga 1991/92

The A Lyga 1992/93 was the third season of the highest Lithuanian league in men's football after independence from the Soviet Union . It began on August 1, 1992 and ended on June 19, 1993.

mode

In contrast to the previous season, the season was carried out in a two-stage format. In the first phase, each of the 14 teams competed against each other once. Then the eight best teams played for the championship in a double round, the bottom six determined two relegated teams.
