For further stylistic comparisons (in the more cautious parts) Pink Floyd , but also more modern British rock bands such as Radiohead or Coldplay were used . At Are You There? , which was subsequently performed live as a duet, Anna Livingstone sang the background vocals. The lead vocals for the title song are from Lee Douglas, who had also been heard on the previous album. A vocoder is used in the piece Closer .
