Aaron Wonesch

Aaron Wonesch (born May 26, 1966 ) is an Austrian jazz pianist .

Live and act

Wonesch received piano lessons from 1975. After attending a seminar by Bill Dobbins , he studied at the Vienna Conservatory from 1985 to 1990 . Between 1987 and 1991 he was a pianist at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien and played in Broadway shows such as “ 42nd Street ”, “ A Chorus Line ”, “ Phantom of the Opera ”, “ Les Misèrables ”, and André Heller 's “Wintergarten”. He also worked with various artists for television and radio, including a. Tom Jones , Johnny Cash or Johnny Logan and was on tour with Alexander Goebel .

He tours Austria , Germany and the Netherlands with his jazz trio . He has also played festivals in New York , Hong Kong , Shanghai , London , Helsinki , Venice and Montreux with jazz musicians such as Jimmy Cobb , Leo Wright , Bill Berry , Lew Tabackin , Jeff Clayton and Jerry Bergonzi . He is also part of Joschi Schneeberger's sextet , where he also plays the flugelhorn . He can also be heard on albums by Hans Salomon ( Midnight Lady ) and Heinz von Hermann ( Hi, Bix ). He teaches jazz piano at the Vienna Conservatory .
