Abel Apigo
Abel Cahiles Apigo (born May 21, 1968 in Calinan , Davao City , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Mati .
Life
Abel Apigo received on 18 April 1994 by the Archbishop of Davao , Antonio L. Mabutas , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On February 10, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Mati. The Archbishop of Davao, Romulo Geolina Valles , donated him episcopal ordination on April 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Digos , Guillermo Dela Vega Afable , and the Bishop of Ipil , Julius Sullan Tonel . The inauguration took place a day later.
