Achim Bornhöft

Achim Christian Bornhöft (born November 3, 1966 in Essen ) is a German composer .

biography

Achim Bornhöft studied at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen with Nicolaus A. Huber and Dirk Reith and at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University . His compositions and choreographies (in collaboration with Katja Büchtemann and Ulrich Baumeister) have been awarded various prizes and grants and performed at international festivals in Germany and abroad. Achim Bornhoeft lives in Tübingen and heads the Studio for Electronic Music (SEM) at the Mozarteum University , Salzburg .
