The Acolin is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. It rises in the municipality of Mercy , generally drains north to northwest and flows into the Loire as a left tributary after 63 kilometers at Avril-sur- Loire . On his way he touches the Allier and Nièvre departments . Shortly before the estuary, the Acolin passes under the Canal latéral à la Loire .
