Adam Kaufman

Adam Kaufman (* 1974 ) is an American actor who played Charlie Keys in the science fiction miniseries Taken by Steven Spielberg . He had his first television appearance in 1999 on the television series Brookfield .

Life

Kaufman was born in Virginia and raised in New Canaan , Connecticut. He has a Jewish father and a Roman Catholic mother. He studied acting at Lynchburg College, the Circle at the Square Theater School, and the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Theater Institute.

Kaufman met his girlfriend, actress Poppy Montgomery , on the set of the independent film Between in 2005 and had a date with her. Then he lived with her. In June 2007, Montgomery announced her pregnancy from Kaufman. Montgomery played FBI agent Samantha Spade in the television series Without a Trace and Kaufman Brian Donovan , the father of Spade's son Finn. On December 23, 2007, Montgomery and Kaufman's son was born in Los Angeles . Kaufman is the younger brother of David Kaufman, who dubbed the title character Danny Phantom in the Nickelodeon animated series of the same name.

On October 11, 2011, Life & Style announced that Adam Kaufman had separated from his partner Poppy Montgomery. It was reported that the separation occurred due to the physical distance between the two actors' workplaces in New York City , where Montgomery shot their current television series Unforgettable , and Los Angeles, where Kaufman worked.
