Adam Rothenberg
Adam Rothenberg (born June 20, 1975 in Tenafly , New Jersey ) is an American actor .
Life
Rothenberg was born to Gillian and Kenneth Rothenberg and has two brothers and three sisters. Before his acting career, he worked as a garbage collector and security guard, among other things. Eventually he took acting classes in New York City . In the 1990s he was a soldier in the US Army and also stationed in Germany.
As an actor, he initially worked in numerous theater productions, later also in film and television. His most famous role is that of Captain Homer Jackson and Matthew Judge in the BBC One series Ripper Street alongside Jerome Flynn and Matthew Macfadyen . His work for film and television includes more than two dozen productions.
Since 2016 Rothenberg has been dating the Irish actress Charlene McKenna , whom he met on the set of Ripper Street . In March 2019, they both announced their engagement.
