Adolf Ernst Theodor Müller

Adolf Ernst Theodor Müller (born February 12, 1813 in Blankenburg , † September 25, 1877 in Wolfenbüttel ) was a lawyer and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Müller attended the grammar schools in Blankenburg and Wolfenbüttel and studied from 1832 to 1836 in Tübingen and Jena . In 1832 he became a member of the Feuerreiter fraternity in Tübingen . In 1833 he was arrested for three months in Tübingen for participating in allegedly treasonable connections with the fraternity. In 1838 he was pardoned and admitted to the exam.

From 1840 he was a lawyer and notary in Wolfenbüttel, later also a senior court attorney. From 1847 to 1874 he was a city councilor and from 1871 to 1876 chairman of the city council in Wolfenbüttel. Between 1863 and 1875 he was a member of the Braunschweig State Parliament and from 1871 also of the district assembly. In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Braunschweig 2 ( Helmstedt , Wolfenbüttel ) and the National Liberal Party .
