Adrian Aliaj (born September 24, 1976 in Tirana ) is a former Albanian football player .
Career
society
In 1995 Aliaj moved to Germany to Hannover 96 in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 1995/96 season, however, he was only on the 14th and 19th matchday in the squad and came to stakes over 20 and 25 minutes. In 1996 he left Hanover and moved to Croatia to HNK Hajduk Split . After only one year there, Aliaj went to city rivals RNK Split for one season before moving to Hajduk for another year. In 1999 he moved to the Belgian first division for Standard Liège , where he made 24 appearances in the 1999/2000 season. During the winter break he went to Israel to the Maccabi Petach Tikwa , but only stayed there until the summer and after 17 games and two goals moved back to Belgium to the RAA La Louvière . After two years he moved to Sporting Charleroi in the league before returning to the 2nd Bundesliga in Germany in 2003 to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . After two successful years with 45 league appearances - most of them for a club - and seven goals, he left Oberhausen in 2005 and moved to France to Stade Brest . In 2006, Aliaj moved to NK Solin in Croatia for one season before ending his career with al-Nasr in Saudi Arabia in 2007 .

Aliaj played 29 games for the Albanian national soccer team from 2001 to 2006 , scoring eight goals.
