The 12th African Continental Cycling Championships ( 2017 African Continental Cycling Championships ) were held from February 13 to 19, 2017 in Luxor , Egypt , ( road cycling ). The third African championship in track cycling took place in Durban , South Africa , from March 20 to 24, 2017 .

Road races and individual time trials of the elite men were part of the UCI Africa Tour 2017 in the CC category. The participants each started in the national teams of their home countries.

The most successful athlete of these championships was the Mauritian Aurélie Halbwachs , who won both the road race and the individual time trial for women.
