African Games 2019 / Athletics - Men's Javelin
The men's javelin at the 2019 African Games took place on August 30th at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat .
Eleven javelin throwers from seven countries took part in the competition. Julius Yego won the gold medal with 87.73 m, which was also a new record for the African Games. Silver went to Alexander Kiprotich with 77.50 m and Nnamdi Prosper Chinecherem won the bronze medal with 73.24 m.
