African Games 2019 / Athletics - Men's 5000 m

The men's 5000-meter run at the 2019 African Games took place on August 30 at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat .

27 runners from 18 countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Robert Kiprop with 13: 30.96 min, silver went to Edward Pingua Zakayo with 13: 31.40 min and the bronze medal was won by Richard Yator Kimunyan with 1: 31.41 min.
