African Games 2019 / Athletics - Men's 800 m

The men's 800-meter run at the 2019 African Games took place on August 26th, 27th and 28th at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat .

30 runners from 21 countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Abdessalem Ayouni with 1: 45.17 minutes, which was also a new record in the African Games. Silver went to Cornelius Tuwei with 1: 45.41 minutes and Oussama Nabil won the bronze medal with 1: 45.42 seconds.
