Agnes Kiyomi Decker

Agnes Kiyomi Decker (* December 1986 in Bonn ) is a German film actress , stage actress and voice actress with German- Japanese descent.

Life

Decker was born in Bonn and grew up bilingually, her mother is Japanese . After graduating from high school, she did internships in directing with Luk Perceval and Oliver Reese at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf . From 2008 to 2012 she studied acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding and during this time she played at the Akademietheater (Munich) and the Residenztheater (Munich) . Together with the ensemble of the production Woyzeck (Marie) of the Metropoltheater Munich she was awarded the jury prize of the Bavarian Theater Days Bamberg 2011 for the best overall artistic performance.

From 2012 to 2015 , she was permanently engaged at the Zimmertheater Tübingen , where she was a. a. in Tonight: Lola Blau, a female musical with 18 Kreisler songs . During this time she also worked on independent performative projects by director Sapir Heller in Hanover and Munich. In 2015 she took part in a film acting workshop at the Academy for Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg . In 2016 she produced her first own solo evening with director Moritz Peters : Penthesilea. A solo for an actress and five cassette recorders .

Decker is also regularly in front of the camera for film and television, for example in leading episode roles for Das Traumschiff in the episode "Japan" and Commissioner Lucas .
