Agnes Tschurtschenthaler (born January 12, 1982 in Innichen ) is an Italian ( South Tyrolean ) athlete . Her specialty disciplines are the obstacle course and the middle distance. She studied business administration at the University of Innsbruck. In 2001 she ran the Italian junior record over 1500 meters indoor in 4: 45.77 minutes. Agnes Tschurtschenthaler was called up to the Italian national team nine times. She narrowly missed the limit for the Junior European Outdoor Championships. However, she won the title of Italian champion several times, including in the cross team classification together with Silvia Weissteiner and Renate Rungger. In the meantime Tschurtschenthaler moved from Bozen to Sterzing to be close to her training group. Tschurtschenthaler is trained by Ruggero Grassi, already coach of Silvia Weissteiner and Christian Obrist . Your previous trainers were Gert Crepaz and Renate Schafer.
