Agustín Viana , full name Agustín Viana Ache , (born August 23, 1983 in Chicago , Illinois or Miami ) is a former Uruguayan football player with Italian roots.

Career

society

Viana started his Apertura career in 2001 at Bella Vista . At the beginning of January 2006 he switched to the upcoming Clausura at Nacional Montevideo and signed a one and a half year contract. There he was Uruguayan champion right after his first half-season. He came to a total of 17 appearances at the Copa Libertadores in 2006 (7) and 2007 (10) and completed 24 first division games for the Bolsos in the 2006/07 season . Another career station was Atlético Mineiro in 2008 . In the Apertura 2008 he was back in the ranks of Bella Vistas (11 games / 2 goals). In January 2009 he went to CFR Cluj in the Romanian League 1 , but completed only one game in the ranks of the Romanians. He subsequently moved to Gallipoli , where he 28 games in the series B completed. From there, Viana returned to Uruguay in September 2010 to join Bella Vista, for whom he was on the pitch in 22 Primera División games in the 2010/11 season, scoring two goals. In the Apertura of the 2011/12 season, he scored another goal, set up in two games. At the end of August 2011 he then joined Levadiakos . For this club Viana played 13 times in the Greek Super League . In mid-July 2012, his new employer with Bella Vista was again his previous club several times. In the Torneo Apertura 2012 he appeared 15 times in the league and scored two goals. At the end of January 2013, he then joined the American association Columbus Crew . For the club, where he made his debut on March 2, 2013 in the game against Chivas, he played 24 times in the league (one goal) and also ran three times in the reserve team. At the end of January 2015, he moved to Danubio FC . By the end of the 2014/15 season, he had played nine top division games (no goal) and three games (one goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . In the 2015/16 season he was used ten times (no goal) in the Primera División and twice (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . In July 2016, he announced the end of his career.

National team

Viana was in Uruguay's U-20 squad . Among other things, he came there under coach Jorge Da Silva in the preparatory game for the South American Championship on December 28, 2002 against a selection of the Ligas Federadas de Maldonado used that the Celeste won 6-1. In 2003 he then took part in the U-20 South American Championship in his own country with the U-20 Uruguayans . He was also used in an encounter against the Comarcal selection (consisting of players from teams from the Spanish regions La Ribera and La Costera) on August 22, 2003, in which he scored a goal.
