The 178 km long Aiwassedapur ( Russian Айваседапур ) is the right source river of the Pur in Western Siberia ( Russia , Asia ).
geography
The Aiwassedapur arises in the central part of the West Siberian lowland , north of the Sibirskije uwaly ridge , north of the Ob middle course, from the source rivers Jetypur ( Етыпур ) from the left and Jerkalnadeipur ( Еркалнадейпур ) from the right. At 423 kilometers, the Jerkalnadeipur is the longer source river, with which together the river length is 601 kilometers.
The Aiwassedapur flows through its entire length on the territory of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug , mostly strongly meandering through the swampy and lake-rich lowlands in a northerly direction. Finally, he combined four kilometers below the at Pjakupur town of Tarko-Sale to the Pjakupur for Pur.
The main tributaries are Chaduteipur (also Chadytapur) and Charampur from the right. In the catchment area of the Aiwassedapur there are 29,000 lakes with a total area of 3800 km².
Hydrology
The catchment area of the Aiwassedapur covers 26,100 km². The mean water flow near the mouth is 260 m³ / s. Near the confluence, the Aiwassedapur is almost 300 meters wide and two meters deep. The flow velocity here is 0.8 m / s.
The river freezes from October to late May / early June.
Economy and Infrastructure
The Aiwassedapur is navigable along its entire length (also specified as 171 km), as is its right source river Jerkalnadeipur for 113 kilometers from the village of Chaljassawei.
In the catchment area of the Aiwassedapur there are also oil and natural gas deposits , as in the western Pur source river Pjakupur , but these have so far been less developed. Therefore there are no towns directly on the river. In the middle course, about 70 kilometers south of Tarko-Sale above the confluence of the Charampur, the river is crossed by a pontoon bridge, over which a road leads to the drilling camps east of the Aiwassedapur, such as Charampur and Wojenga.
