Career

Sabah started playing soccer at Ratingen 04/19 and DJK Blau-Weiß Gelsenkirchen before moving to the junior division of SG Wattenscheid 09 in 2005 . At the age of 17 he joined the youth department of FC Schalke 04 in 2009 , where he played in the U-19 Bundesliga for two years . Since the 2011/12 season, Sabah was part of the squad of the second team of the Knappen, which played in the Regionalliga West . On December 14, 2011, he came in the Europa League game against Maccabi Haifa for his first and only appearance for the Schalke professional team. Sabah played a total of 61 games for FC Schalke 04 II and scored nine goals.

In May 2013 he signed a two-year contract with the second division club Dynamo Dresden . He made his debut in the second division on May 4, 2014 (33rd match day) in a 4-0 draw against 1. FC Kaiserslautern , with Dynamo he was relegated to the third division at the end of the season. During his time in Dresden he was unable to earn a regular place in either the 2nd or 3rd league. In summer 2015 Sabah moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim . After a season at SV Waldhof, in which he missed promotion to the 3rd division with the club, he moved to the Oberliga Niederrhein for SSVg Velbert . In the winter break of 2016/17 he was loaned to the regional division Sportfreunde Siegen for the second half of the season. After Sabah was relegated with the winners from the Regionalliga West , he joined the FSV Frankfurt in the Regionalliga Südwest .

Sabah played seven international matches for the German U-18 national team between 2009 and 2010 . He later decided to play for his country of birth, Togo, and was appointed to Togo's national team for the first time in October 2014 .
