Albert Narath

Albert Narath (born September 13, 1864 in Vienna , † August 15, 1924 in Heidelberg ) was a German anatomist and surgeon .

Life

First he made a name for himself as an anatomist with studies of the structure of the bronchial system and various forms of hernia . In 1906 he became a full professor at the Surgical University Clinic in Heidelberg. In 1910 he had to give up this chair for health reasons. However, he used the following years for numerous scientific publications. He died a month before his 60th birthday.

Naraths publications concerning stomach surgery , bowel elimination, retroperitoneal lymph cysts, development of an artificial larynx , varicoceles operations, pneumatoceles the parotid and omentum sculptures addressing.
