Albertsreuth is a district of Weißdorf in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

location

Albertsreuth is located in the eastern municipality of Weißdorf. To the northeast is the town of Götzmannsgrün and to the east Förmitz , which belonged to the urban area of ​​the city of Schwarzenbach an der Saale . The neighboring village of Bärlas is in the northwest and Benk in the southwest , both of which also belong to the municipality of Weißdorf. In the center of Albertsreuth, the connecting roads to Weißdorf, Benk, Förmitz and Götzmannsgrün cross.

Historical

From 1812 Albertsreuth was part of the district court district Münchberg Ä. O. in the Principality of Bayreuth in the Mainkreis (until 1817), Obermainkreis (until 1838) and Upper Franconia. When the districts and the district offices were founded in 1862 , Albertsreuth was assigned to the Münchberg district office. When the districts became the districts in 1939, Albertsreuth belonged to the Münchberg district . The Seulbitz municipality was responsible for the municipal administration at the time . This responsibility ended on April 30, 1978. According to the proposals of the government of Upper Franconia, Albertsreuth was incorporated into the municipality of Weißdorf on the occasion of the regional reform .

Streams

The northern border of the village of Albertsreuth is formed by the Göllitzbach and the Lindenbach. In the southeast, the Förmitz borders the village area.

Water supply

The village of Albertsreuth supplies itself with drinking water through the Albertsreuth water cooperative. This is pumped from a well on the northern edge of the Fichtelgebirge via a pipeline approximately three kilometers long.
