Location of Seulbitz in Bavaria |
Seulbitz is a district of Schwarzenbach an der Saale in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
Before the municipality of Seulbitz on the Saxon Saale was incorporated into Schwarzenbach an der Saale on May 1, 1978 , it belonged to the Münchberg district with the villages of Albertsreuth , Bärlas , Götzmannsgrün and Posterlitz . Albertsreuth and Bärlas were incorporated into Weißdorf .
The only monument is a granite fountain trough with a signature from 1735. It is located in the inner courtyard of a stable house . A quarry northeast of the village is a geotope because of its rock type and metamorphic structure .
The Seulbitzer Mühle was a grain and cutting mill. It was probably commissioned in the 18th century and shut down in the 1950s.
The Saale flows through the place. Seulbitz is located on the federal highway 289 between Weißdorf and the main town Schwarzenbach an der Saale. The district road HO 25 leads to Ahornberg . There is a stop on the Bamberg – Hof railway line .
The Schwarzenbach landscape painter Anton Richter made pictures of the place and its surroundings.
