Langenbach is a district of Schwarzenbach an der Saale in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
In 1390 five farms were owned by the Kotzau family in Fattigau , later the Hof monastery was also represented with a farm that was transferred to the Himmelkron monastery . In the 16th century, the von Hirschberg family became owners. According to Ernst, 16 families and 68 residents lived in the village in 1868. Before being incorporated into Schwarzenbach, Langenbach was part of the Quellenreuth community in the Rehau district . The only architectural monument in town is a stable house with a gable roof and half-timbered upper floor from the first half of the 19th century.
