Lamitzmühle is a district of Schwarzenbach an der Saale in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
Lamitzmühle takes its name from the mill of the same name on the Lamitz , whose history goes back to the 16th century. According to Ernst, a family of five lived there in 1868. The district is now an industrial park and is characterized by the textile company Sandler AG . The company's founder acquired the mill in 1899 and the company expanded with new workshops.
The district is separated by the Bamberg – Hof railway line in the east of the city and is connected to the federal highway 289, which runs as the northern border .
