Alexander Guy Rushworth Loudon (born September 6, 1980 in Westminster , London ) is a retired English cricketer .

Loudon attended Eton College and studied at Durham University . Outside of the County Championship , he played for Durham MCCU (Durham University) and the Marylebone Cricket Club, among others . His only game for the English national cricket team he completed in 2006 in a One-Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka in Chester-le-Street . In this game he was eliminated as a batsman after a minute without receiving a throw. After the 2007 season, he ended his professional playing career to devote himself to his further business career.

According to media reports, he was in a relationship with Pippa Middleton , sister of Catherine Mountbatten-Windsor, Duchess of Cambridge . They split in 2011.

His father, James Loudon, is a former banker and former high sheriff of Kent . The James Bond -author Ian Fleming was his great-uncle and former cricketer Hugo Loudon (* 1978) is his brother.
