Peter Brownbill

Peter Brownbill (born April 17, 1968 in Dortmund ) is a German actor who is 120 cm tall due to a congenital stature or pseudoachondroplasia .

Career

Brownbill began his acting career in 2009. After appearing in theater, television and short films, he played the gangster "Larry Link" in his first feature film, Jerry Cotton , in 2010 . More performances followed in the splatter comedy " Savage Love " directed by Olaf Ittenbach and 2011 in the Joe Wright -Kinofilm Hanna with a brief appearance. He also played a robot in Ari Folman's “The Congress” . Most recently he was in front of the camera in Markus Goller's film “Alles ist Liebe” .

Brownbill played the servant in “Das Leben ein Traum” by Calixto Bieito at the Mannheim Nationaltheater and played the leading role as a dwarf in “Das singende, klingende Bäumchen”, directed by Olaf Becker. Most recently he played the main role as the boss in the fairy tale "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs", also directed by Olaf Becker.

Brownbill has featured in music videos such as B. A Happy Place by the singer Katie Melua , “White Nights” by Tanzwut, “Abrakadabra” by Nazar, or most recently in “Masquerade” by Sido feat. Genetikk & Marsimoto participated. You can also see him in various commercials.

In addition to his acting career, he is co-founder of a talent agency called Brownbill UG, which specialized in the placement of short actors. The agency is also active as a film production company and has the film rights to the novels Who steals lower legs? and the "sperm bank robbery" secured by Gert Prokop .

Brownbill recorded the drinking song Perkeo in 2014 in a classic and a modern version. In 2015 he covered the song 16 Zwerge by the band Tubbe .

Peter Brownbill and his partner Patrick Keaton took part in the casting show "Das Supertalent" in 2016 under the name "Smalltalk".
