Alexander Müller (skeleton pilot)

Alexander Müller is an Austrian skeleton pilot .

Alexander Müller has been active in the World Cup since 1988. In 1996 in Winterberg and Königssee he won his only World Cup races. In the 1989/90 season he finished fourth in the overall World Cup, as well as in 1992/93. In 1994/95 Müller even finished third and in 1996/97 he won the overall World Cup, in 1998/99 he was fifth again.

Müller's greatest success at international championships was a bronze medal at the 2000 World Championships in Igls . He had to share third place with the American Jim Shea . In Austria, Müller won the titles in 1999 and 2000, in 2001 he was third in the championship and in 2002 he was runner- up behind Martin Rettl .

After his active career, Müller became the coach of the Austrian national team.
