Alexander Nandzik (born September 12, 1992 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German soccer player . The left-back is under contract with SSV Jahn Regensburg .

Career

Nandzik played in the youth team of SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 until 2004 and then for seven years in the youth teams of 1. FC Cologne . In 2011 he moved to the second team of Fortuna Dusseldorf , where he was a regular player. After two years, Nandzik moved to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden on a free transfer and signed a two-year contract.

Nandzik scored his first goal in the 2013/14 season in the 90th minute against the second division relegated MSV Duisburg .

For the 2015/16 season , Nandzik moved to Chemnitzer FC . During the winter break, he was loaned to the Bayern regional league team SSV Jahn Regensburg and, after being promoted to the 2016/17 season via relegation, he was finally committed to a transfer fee. Nandzik signed a three-year contract with SSV Jahn until June 30, 2019.

After promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2017/18 season , Nandzik was initially a regular on the left defensive flank and ended the season with Jahn in a surprising fifth place in the table. As a result, the defender was ousted by loan players Jonas Föhrenbach and later Chima Okoroji and only made 18 other competitive games until the 2019/20 winter break .

This was followed by a loan to third division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . On the left defensive flank he came in alternation with regular player Philipp Hercher , who was also used on the right, on nine starting eleven appearances, including one in the DFB Cup. Since the season had to be extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was still not over at the end of June 2020, Nandzik returned to Regensburg early after the 36th match day. The FCK did not make use of the purchase option contained in the loan agreement .
