Alexander Stefi
Alexander Stefi (born June 6, 1953 in Ciacova , People's Republic of Romania , † November 30, 2016 in Schweinfurt , Bavaria) was a German theater actor.
Life
The son of a Banat teacher couple, Alexander Stefi grew up in his native Ciacova. In September 1968 he moved to Timișoara , where he passed his school leaving examination in 1973. He then began training as an actor (until 1975) and, from 1974, training as a director. In 1972 he was engaged as an actor at the German State Theater in Timișoara . At the same time he received training as a conductor and orchestrator .
After the Romanian revolution in December 1989 , Stefi moved to Germany with his wife and two sons in February 1990. Via the stations in Nuremberg and Schweinfurt , he finally got to Hambach in Lower Franconia , where he lived until his death.
Acting career
Alexander Stefi has participated in well over 200 premieres at the German State Theater Timișoara and the Franconian Theater Schloss Maßbach , as well as in many entertainment programs, musicals, operettas and fairy tales. He partly directed, orchestrated or arranged for various orchestras and studied vocal scores. Until his death he directed the male choir from Hambach (Lower Franconia) in addition to his acting activities and regularly directed the Hambach theater group.
At the German State Theater Timișoara he played from 1975 to 1990 z. B. in the following pieces:

- Mother Courage and her children from Bertolt Brecht the role of sergeant, field captain

- Minna von Barnhelm from GE Lessing the role of host,
- Der Zerrissene by Johann Nestroy the role of the ember hammer.
Stefi has been employed at the Franconian Theater Schloss Maßbach since October 1990 , where he participated in the following plays, among others:
