Alexander von Janitzky

Alexander von Janitzky (born June 19, 1948 ) is a German actor and director . He also works as an acting teacher.

Career

Von Janitzky initially worked as a freelance journalist . In France he became a member of the theater and artist group “Théâtre du Moulin” in Bordeaux in the mid-1970s . From 1976 to 1980 he trained as an actor and studied directing in Paris (University of Paris VIII / St. Denis). From 1982 to 1984 he was engaged at the Berlin Schaubühne am Halleschen Ufer , where he played small roles in Klaus Michael Grüber's production of Hamlet . During this time, von Janitzky also completed an internship with Peter Stein . Further acting studies took place in the mid-1980sWalter Lott , he also attended seminars at The Actors Studio in New York City .

As a theater director, Janitzky had engagements at the Borcherttheater Münster, Staatstheater Kassel , Theater in der Westermühle Munich, Studio Theater in PEP Munich, Theater am Sachsenring Cologne, Horizont Theater Cologne (1994) and from 1998 to 2003 regularly at the Euro Theater Central Bonn , where he was also seen as an actor in various roles. He realized other productions of his own at the Theater der Keller in Cologne . Since 2008 he has been staging regularly at the Oberberg Studio Theater in Wiehl . From the beginning of the 1990s, Janitzky also appeared in various television roles. In 2006 he directed the comedy film Der Prinz von Wanne-Eickel with Jürgen Drews . From September 2009 he took on the role of Dr. in the television series Das Haus Anubis. Zeno Trabas, which he continued until 2012. Since 2014 he has been an integral part of the “Digital Quartet” in Jan Böhmermann's ZDF Neo Magazin Royale .
