biography

Skiing

Grauvogl took part in alpine FIS races from December 1996 , her first appearance in the European Cup followed in January 1999. Over time, she specialized in the downhill and super-G disciplines . She competed in her first World Cup race on December 17, 1999 and finished in 43rd place on the descent from St. Moritz . Grauvogl won world cup points for the first time on January 13, 2001 with 29th place in the Super-G in Haus im Ennstal . In the downhill run on the same day, she was classified 22nd, which was also her best result ever. She could no longer build on these achievements, which is why she decided to switch to the freestyle discipline ski cross .

Grauvogl made her debut in the Freestyle World Cup on November 23, 2003 in Saas-Fee , where she finished 19th and won her first World Cup points. She could not contest other races in the 2003/04 season due to injury. She won the bronze medal at the 2005 Winter Universiade . On January 21, 2005 she achieved her only podium finish when she was third in Kreischberg . Due to another injury, Grauvogl had to take a break for the entire 2005/06 season. Contrary to the season, she won the bronze medal at the 2007 World Cup in Madonna di Campiglio , behind the French Ophélie David and Méryll Boulangeat . In 2008 and 2009 she achieved several top 10 placements. Due to another injury, she almost completely missed the 2009/10 season. In the winter of 2010/11, an 11th place was her best result, in March 2011 she ended her sports career.
