AlexiBexi (born January 23, 1989 in Hamburg ; bourgeois Alexander Böhm ) is a German YouTuber and web video producer .

Life

Alexander Böhm has been interested in video and film editing since childhood . At the age of 18 he lived in Neu Wulmstorf . After completing his high school diploma in 2009, he began his studies in 2011 at the Media Academy in Hamburg and completed this successfully in 2013 as a Bachelor of Arts in directing for film and television at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences .

Initially, these videos were presented as part of the alextv program, especially on the Sevenload video portal . Several categories were presented there (top lists, explanatory videos, news). These categories appear differently in the magazine. There is no set order. The format was initially continued on YouTube.

Böhm has been running the AlexiBexi YouTube channel since 2008 . In addition, he operates the channels alexibexi2 and daddelautomat , which are, however, inactive. He had his breakthrough on YouTube when he dubbed well-known English-language songs in German there from 2010. He got the idea for the synchronization of the songs because during his community service he often asked himself whether the listeners on the radio really know what is often sung in English lyrics as "crap".

Videos with political or explanatory content are now appearing on his channel at irregular intervals. The “ explainer ” and “such a shit” enjoy particular popularity . In the “Explain” format, he partly answers questions from the audience, but is often also devoted to curious recipes and experiments. There are also technology reviews, competitions, the series “The Couple”, a kind of vlog , Let's Plays and other videos. He also created an account on the Twitch streaming platform in 2014, where he regularly streams games or tries out new PC components.

Böhm is also the voice actor in many web videos of other YouTubers and also appears on other channels. Among other things, he is one of the main actors on the YouTube channel “Turn On” (formerly “techlab”).

He has been a special guest on the NDR YouTube channel NDR-CHECKer since March 2015 .

Böhm also has his own company in Hamburg . He announced his separation from the multi-channel network Mediakraft on July 1, 2016. He is currently under contract with the multi-channel network Divimove .

From March 30, 2017, Böhm was in the role of Dr. Mankow can be seen in the three-part ZDFneo television series Neomaniacs .

Since April 2017 Böhm operates together with the Radio Hamburg presenter André Kuhnert (Qnerd) and Jens Herforth the podcast channel random tainment .

On August 16, 2017, he was, among other things, an interviewer at #DeineWahl and interviewed Angela Merkel before the 2017 federal election .

In the meantime, he almost exclusively produces technology reviews and the so-called ABC show (AlexiBexi content show) on his main channel.
