Alexis Bug (born January 12, 1973 in Speyer ) is a German actor , director and author .

Life

Alexis Bug completed his training at the drama school in Bochum in 1997 . He worked as an actor at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Staatstheater Schwerin and the Berlin theaters Sophiensaele and Hebbel am Ufer . In German cinemas he could be seen in films by Angela Schanelec and Leander Haußmann . He wrote several plays and in 2004 received the Martha-Saalfeld-Förderpreis für Literatur of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate . In the same year he made his debut as a director at the Landestheater Tübingen .
