Geographical location

It is located in the Boeotia regional district . The administrative seat is the city of the same name Aliartos . Before 2011, the Aliartos parish corresponded to today's Aliartos parish . In the course of the Kallikratis reform , the municipality was merged with the municipality of Thespies.
