Alim Pasht-han
Alim Pasht-Han , actually Alim Pashtov (* 1972 in Nalchik , USSR) is a Russian visual artist of Cabardian origin. Pasht-Han lives and works in Germany and Russia.
Life
In 1989 Alim Pasht-Han began studying painting and graphics at the Krasnoyarsk State Art School . After completing his studies and then teaching lithography at the Krasnoyarsk State Art Academy , he received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service as a visual artist . This enabled him to pursue his artistic work in Halle (Saale) from 1995 .
From 1996 he continued his artistic training at the Burg Giebichenstein Halle art college . From 1999 to 2002 he completed a postgraduate course in sculpture with Bernd Göbel . From 2004 to 2006, she did a postgraduate course in media art with Ute Hörner.
In addition to sculpture, installation , graphics and painting, he has also been working with porcelain as a material since 2006 . He took part in the 5th porcelain workshop Kahla Kreativ in 2010 and in the World Ceramic Biennale in South Korea in 2011 and 2017. Creation of ARURA , the world's largest porcelain vase, for Porzellanwelten Leuchtenburg in 2015. 2017 Realization of the massive granite sculpture Himmelsstein for Atazhukin Park in Nalchik .
Alim Pasht-Han is a son of the painter and graphic artist German Pashtov.
Since 2018 teaching position "Art Center German Pashtov" at the state university "Berbekov" of Kabardino-Balkaria.
