Alisa Vetterlein (born October 22, 1988 in Rheinfelden ) is a former German soccer player . The goalkeeper last played for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the 2014/15 season . She is the older sister of Laura Vetterlein .
Career
societies
Vetterlein began her career at SV Nollingen . She came to SC Freiburg via FC Hausen in 2003 . For the 2005/06 season she moved to Bundesliga promoted VfL Sindelfingen, for whom Vetterlein played twice in the Bundesliga. After relegation in 2006, their team played in the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 2008/09 season she moved to 1. FFC Frankfurt. Despite an existing contract, she was able to move to VfL Wolfsburg for the 2009/10 season, as her prospects for Bundesliga match practice had deteriorated significantly in view of the FFC's commitment to national goalkeeper Nadine Angerer in winter .
From 2011 she played together with her sister in Wolfsburg. For the 2013/14 season, Vetterlein moved from Wolfsburg to Bundesliga promoted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
At the beginning of 2015 she left Hoffenheim for professional reasons.
National team
With the U-19 national team, she became European champion in 2007 and was also named best goalkeeper. In the run-up to the European Women's Football Championship in 2009 , Vetterlein was part of the extended squad during the first preparatory courses, but had to give way to the Essen goalkeeper Lisa Weiß when the final nomination was made .
